Systematics International Ltd is pleased to announce that Tracy Remington has been promoted to office manager, making her the initial point of contact for customer queries.

Tracy first joined the company in April 2006, having spent more than 23 years working for a major credit card processor and deciding she wanted to explore a different career path.

Her role first at Systematics was as a data controller, which primarily involved data entry and running the UK63 Registration Exchange. She then progressed to data entry for the International Shipments & Crane Exchanges and eventually the British Industrial Truck Association (BITA).

When Systematics was bought out by Christine Bhatt in 2007, an opportunity arose for someone to carry out day-to-day accounts work at the company. Seeing how enthusiastic Tracy was about the job, Christine offered to sponsor her to attend evening classes to study for her Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualification. This involved three years of studying and exams, which Tracy successfully passed with flying colours.

She was promoted to office manager in September 2013. In her new role, she continues to oversee the expanded data control team, as well as ensuring that all team members are trained to use all exchanges to ensure no impact on service if anyone is absent.

Tracy is also involved in other areas of the business, including assisting the IT department with the administration of all new projects, as well as providing support to Christine and Manuel in preparation for client meetings.

She said: “Having worked for Systematics for seven years, I have been given the opportunity to develop my skills and progress further. I look forward to being part of the company’s future.”

Commenting on Tracy’s promotion, Christine said: “Tracy has made excellent progress since she started here at Systematics and together with her willingness to learn and develop, it is a pleasure to further enhance her career aspirations.”
