The Federation of Small Business (FSB) has presented a trophy for Digital Innovation to Battlesbridge-based company, Systematics International, at the FSB East of England Awards.
Systematics was one of a number of businesses shortlisted at the awards, which took place at Newmarket Racecourse, that celebrate the region’s best small and medium-sized businesses.
The firm, which was founded in 1972, collects market data for manufacturers of agricultural, construction, material handling and mobile crane equipment all over the world and is a key global operator in the data-processing industry.
Judges selected the firm for the honour based on its forward-thinking approach and drive to innovate their services for their clients.
Systematics was also recognised as an exceptional employer, which was evident in its ability to recruit some of the most talented analysts in Essex and beyond.
Speaking about their win at the FSB East of England Awards, Christine Bhatt, CEO at Systematics said: “It’s an honour to win this award considering that the number of entries in the digital innovation category was so high, with huge technical talent.
“Systematics has always placed emphasis on bringing people and systems together to deliver effective and efficient solutions by working through complex technical requirements and translating these into processes that are data-driven, flexible and easy to understand.”
Christine went on to explain that a lot of work developing customer systems, processes and regulatory frameworks takes place “behind the scenes”, something that Systematics does not shout about loud enough and she added that much of the credit goes to a fantastic team who deliver pretty much everything customers want.
“The last few months have been challenging for Systematics because of the uncertainty in the business landscape, but the team have coped exceptionally well by working together to find innovative solutions in the existing industries we work with and also venturing into new market sectors,” she said.
