Systematics International Limited Review of 2013

2013 was a momentous year for Systematics – and the sixth successful year since the management buyout. Below are a few of our highlights:

  • We already have a successful partnership of 25 years with BITA (British Industrial Truck Association) and in Q1 2013, Systematics entered into new markets by starting to work with the FEM IT – Fédération Européenne de la Manutention, Product Group Industrial Trucks. We won a tender to develop a web-based software system for the European Group meaning that we have now extended our reach to other trade associations based across Europe  such as CISMA (France), Anima (Italy), VDMA (Germany) and Teknikforetagen (Sweden). The project was a success as we were able to deliver a state-of-the-art system that more than fully met the initial requirements, as improvement proposals were generated by the Systematics programming staff to facilitate smoother transition from a third party legacy system.
  • Systematics has started supplying tractor registrations data for the market of Poland, another step forward towards integrating into the Eastern European markets. We are now in the process of identifying and analysing data for Estonia, Latvia, Slovakia, CzechRepublic and Hungary. We will keep you updated as and when it is made available.
  • Another highlight was the fact that Systematics started its co-operation with Rosagromash, The Russian Association of Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers, on data exchange for combine and forage harvesters.
  • 2013 also delivered two outstanding business awards; the firm won the Business to Business (Small Firm) category and Christine Bhatt was named Business Woman of the Year at the Basildon Business Awards ceremony in July. Christine was also named as a finalist in the East of England Business Champions 2013, under the Business Person of the Year category, and a finalist in the prestigious NatWest Everywoman Awards, one of just three chosen from thousands of applicants across the country.
  • We have always emphasised the importance of our people and in 2013 once again the team was simply outstanding. We really are extremely proud of our people as we believe that we have the right team for the right job.
  • Mrs Tracy Remington was promoted to the role of office manager. In her new role, she continues to oversee the expanded data control team, as well as ensuring that all team members are trained to use all exchanges to ensure there is no impact on service if anyone is absent. From the company’s point of view, it is a pleasure to be able to further enhance Tracy’s career aspirations.
  • On the IT front, 2013 saw another milestone. As part of our continued improvements to our global systems infrastructure, we introduced a new website and applications server, an improvement to the backbone to the systems providing you with up-to-date information on Systematics, whilst giving a separate, secure https access portal to our online applications for all our clients.
  • On the corporate social responsibility front, we continue to sponsor several charities such as the Essex Wildlife Trust, and a local under 12s football team by providing them with the necessary team’s football kit. As part of our ongoing support to local schools, we have donated some funds to SouthendHigh School for Girls that will enable the school to provide a prize for the winning Young Enterprise group competition and also substantially boost the Century Fund which will help the school to fund the new buildings for the sixth form and drama classes. On an international front, this year we have also donated several household items to the Mother Theresa charity, based in Lusaka, Zambia.
  • Systematics continues to be committed in providing the highest quality of data services to manufacturing industries worldwide. To ensure that we are delivering the best possible service, we carried out a satisfaction survey with our clients in 2013 and we were delighted to learn that 97% of the respondents would be happy to recommend Systematics to another company. A massive thank you to you all for the confidence in our company and for your custom.

2014 is also expected to be another step forward as we prepare to work and tender for new opportunities that will enable Systematics to grow and further consolidate its presence within the data exchange industry.

Finally we would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your continued support throughout 2013, and wish you all a prosperous New Year full of health and happiness.

Thank you

The Systematics Team
