As a manufacturer of agricultural machinery and equipment, John Deere needs to receive market statistics in compliance with European Competition Law, which is where its relationship with Systematics International comes to the fore.
“We have been working with Systematics for 10-15 years,” says the manager for market analysis at John Deere’s European Sales and Marketing Centre in Mannheim, John Taylor.
John Deere participates in three data exchanges provided by Systematics to obtain data on production statistics, sales activity and vehicle registrations that is in compliance with EU law.
“The benefits from working with Systematics are essential to us,” says Mr Taylor. “We gain knowledge of how the market is performing, and use this understanding as the basis for our demand planning activities.
“We make investments and allocation incentives based on their data.”
