CEO of innovative Essex data processing firm Systematics International Ltd, Christine Bhatt, has been selected as a finalist in two categories at the prestigious National Business Women’s Awards.

Judges at the awards were impressed with the work of Christine and her team and have placed her on the shortlist for the International Women’s Award and the Business Woman of the Year – Micro Businesses category.

Both of these categories recognise Christine’s work building Systematics International into a successful global business and her impact on the industry in which she works.

Christine took over the firm in 2007 through a management buyout and has since invested heavily in developing innovative solutions and a team that can deliver exceptional services to the company’s expanding client base.

Despite operating from an office in Battlesbridge, the firm has evolved into a key data processing player, delivering statistical reports, data exchanges and market intelligence to clients and trade associations in more than 30 countries.

Despite recent international challenges, the firm has continued to enjoy growth and remains a key player within the industries in which it works.

This is the second year in a row that Christine has been shortlisted at National Business Women’s Awards and she is hoping for success.

Speaking about her recent shortlisting, Christine said: “We are absolutely delighted that the judges have decided to select me for these wonderful awards. Events like this play a vital role in promoting the hard work and drive of female business leaders in the UK, so I am honoured to once again be selected as a finalist.

Christine will find out whether she has won at an awards ceremony due to take place at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel in Kensington, London on Thursday 12 December.
