CEO of leading Essex data processing firm shortlisted for National Business Women’s award

Christine Bhatt, CEO of forward-thinking Essex data processing firm Systematics International Ltd, has been shortlisted for a prestigious national award celebrating female entrepreneurs and women-led businesses all across the UK.

Christine, who single-handedly led a management buy-out (MBO) of Systematics back in 2007 and has since reshaped the company into an innovative industry leader, has been named as a finalist in the International Women’s Award category at the National Business Women’s Awards 2018.

This category celebrates women who have made a tremendous impact in their business sector or market, by shaking-up existing practices and driving innovation – something which Christine and the Systematics team have worked tirelessly to achieve ever since the MBO.

Despite operating from a relatively small office in Battlesbridge, the firm has evolved into a key data processing player, delivering statistical reports, data exchanges and market intelligence services to clients and trade associations in more than 30 countries all over the globe.

Further to her shortlisting, Christine will be attending a glamorous awards ceremony at London’s Wembley Stadium on Friday 7 December 2018, where she will go head-to-head against the other lucky finalists.

Commenting, Christine, who is also Chair of the Essex Institute of Directors (IoD), said: “It is a great honour to be shortlisted for this fantastic award at the National Business Women’s Awards, an event which celebrates the passion, dedication and success of some of Britain’s best and brightest businesswomen.

“I would like to thank all of the Systematics team for their brilliant hard work over the years and for helping me to pursue my vision of shaping Systematics into a ‘go-to’ data processing powerhouse and a real market leader.”

Manuel Bhatt, Christine’s husband and Chief Finance and Strategic Planning Officer at Systematics, added: “Christine is a true leader and a real inspiration to female entrepreneurs everywhere.

“I am delighted that her efforts have been recognised by this prestigious awards body.”
