Systematics scoops two top regional business awards

Specialist data collection company Systematics International Limited is celebrating after winning two accolades at this year’s Basildon Business Awards.

The firm, which is based in Battles bridge, Essex, won the Business to Business (Small Firm) Award, while Chief Executive Christine Bhatt was named Business Woman of the Year.

Christine and husband Manuel, the firm’s Chief Finance and Strategic Planning Officer, were presented with their awards at a ceremony which took place at Basildon’s Towngate Theatre on Friday, 12 July.

Christine said: “Just to be shortlisted for these two awards was fantastic news, but to win both of them is absolutely wonderful.

“Both Manuel and I also give credit to the fantastic team we have here at Systematics, without whom this success would not have been possible. These awards are a testament to the hard work and commitment of everyone on the team.”

Christine was praised by the judges of the Business Woman of the Year category, who said: “From the beginning of the judging process, one amazing lady stood out. Her strength of courage, her strength of character and her high standards of work ethics shine through every aspect of her company, and it is felt by her customers and her team who work alongside her. We found her inspirational and a worthy winner of this special award.”

Christine said: “Manuel and I would like to sincerely thank the judges, Richard Varrier and Matthew Prior, from First Data Merchant Solutions for the Business to Business Award, and Andrew and Jacky Roast, from Play 2 Learn Day Nursery for the Business Woman of the Year Award. These awards mean a lot to the company, our team and us personally.”
