Systematics welcomes new sales and marketing executive

Systematics is pleased to welcome Chris Hoggett, who joined the team as a sales and marketing executive on 1 February.

In this role, Chris will be involved in all sales and marketing activities of the Systematics business model, in particular the BITA exchange, where there are plenty of opportunities to improve the existing offering with a key focus on anticipating the future needs of all customers. Chris will work alongside Manuel Bhatt, Tracy Remington and Keith Ryan to ensure the continued success of the high level of customer care and service offered to all our customers.

Chris is an experienced marketing professional, having worked with Briggs Equipment, formerly Barloworld Handling Ltd, for 20 years, in a variety of sales and marketing roles, involving creating robust forecast modes for the UK market, products, regions, territories and postcodes bringing a positive difference to the business.

Chris has also made significant contributions to the BITA statistics committee meetings, taking an active role in advisory groups and maintaining the highest standards of integrity at all times.

Systematics CEO Christine Bhatt said: “At Systematics, we pride ourselves on handling our client relationships with the utmost respect and confidentiality, with the emphasis of providing our clients with customised solutions in line with their business requirements. Chris’s arrival will enable us to continue building on this commitment and further enhance our existing higher service levels.”

What our clients say about us

At Systematics International Ltd (Systematics), we are committed to providing the highest quality statistical reports to manufacturing industries worldwide.

To ensure we are delivering the best possible service, we recently carried out a satisfaction survey with our clients. While we were seeking to highlight any areas that could be improved, the team at Systematics was pleased with the results.

Firstly, clients were asked to rate various aspects of Systematics delivery of customer service standards, amongst the features examined were calls, delivery and competence, all of these receiving a high score, confirming our commitment to continue providing a high standard to all our customers.

At Systematics, we always welcome new clients who start working with us following a positive referral from an existing client. Therefore, we were delighted to learn that 97% of the respondents would be happy to recommend Systematics to another company which they feel would benefit from our services.

Another achievement was that nearly three-fifths of respondents felt that no further improvements were required in the way in which the team at Systematics worked with them; for the other two-thirds, we will be taking their feedback on board to see how we can enhance the services provided and offer a better experience to benefit all our clients.

The survey also highlighted the fact that 45% of the clients questioned appeared to be unaware of the consultancy services provided by Systematics, a key area that can add value to existing clients. As Systematics presence in the consultancy service business is relatively new, we will be actively promoting this area over the coming months. We would appreciate you contacting the team at Systematics for any projects with which you require support.

Comments from clients described their “good working relationship” with Systematics, and how working well together meant “whatever we ask for, we get”.

We will now be considering the results in more detail to ensure that any necessary measures can be put in place to continually enhance the level of client satisfaction.

Finally, we would like to thank all the clients who participated in the survey for taking the time to provide such valuable feedback. We look forward to continuing to work with you for many years to come.

Systematics develops new software system for FEM Product

Systematics has developed a system interface for the European trade association FEM’s (Federation Europeenne de la Manutention) Product Group – Industrial Trucks, which successfully went live on 8 February.

The system is web-based, offering full flexibility with data-driven rules in all areas and automation with minimal manual processing required by the members of the FEM.

The new system is fully compliant with EU data disclosure rules so members have the complete confidence that competitive data by financial group companies will not be disclosed during any time periods.

Systematics has based the system development primarily on the customised requirements of the FEM group, ensuring right from the onset that the delivery of the system met the detailed specification brief, achieved by working together as a team with FEM and its member companies.

Batches of data can be uploaded from a comma delimited file (generated by Excel or in-house programs), or can be input directly online using our data input program. Once all the data is loaded onto the system it is then checked and aggregated with all other exchange members’ data at the period end.

Each line of data received (either monthly or quarterly) is then validated for correctness. Validation will include checks of respective monthly/quarterly time periods, product code as applicable to the orders, and shipments data being input.

Additional validation can be applied as required, including check of deviation from average monthly posted figures, providing a warning to the end user if the figures loaded for the current period deviate significantly from the monthly averages.

Once all the batch data is loaded onto the system, a summary of the data will be generated which can be checked by the client prior to approving the data for incorporation into the exchange for that month.

At the period end, the system administrators will aggregate all data and check against the data control figures provided by the reporters. The updated reports will then be published on the website, controlled by the customised web membership system.

All our systems undergo continual review and updates to meet our client needs and expectations. We design all of our web based software to utilise a consistent user interface in order to provide familiarity to the end user, and to minimise the amount of cross training required in order to use our products.
